NewsPanel Pro ("we", "us", "our") operates the NewsPanel Pro platform — a web-based system for managing news websites. By using our platform, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
  • Account data: Your name, username, and email address when you register.
  • Website request data: Domain, site title, description, GSC code, Analytics ID, AdSense publisher ID.
  • Profile data: Optional bio information you add in Settings.
  • Contact messages: If you submit a contact form, we store your name, email, and message.
Automatically Collected Data
  • IP address: Logged in session records for security purposes.
  • Browser & device info: User-agent string stored in session records.
  • Login timestamps: Last login date stored in your account record.
3. How We Use Your Information
  • To create and manage your NewsPanel Pro account
  • To process and review website installation requests
  • To send in-app notifications about your request status
  • To respond to support or contact form submissions
  • To maintain platform security and prevent abuse
4. Third-Party Services

When you connect third-party services to your news website, those services have their own privacy policies:

  • Google Analytics 4: Collects visitor data on your news website. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Google AdSense: Displays ads on your news website using cookies. See Google's Ad Policy.
  • Google Search Console: Provides search performance data. Governed by Google's terms.

We do not sell your data to any third party.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a password-protected MySQL database on our server. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt (cost factor 12) and are never stored in plain text. We use CSRF tokens, PDO prepared statements, and session security to protect your account.

6. Your Rights
  • Access: You can view your profile data in Settings at any time.
  • Update: You can edit your name, bio, and password in Settings.
  • Delete: Contact us to request account deletion. We will remove your data within 30 days.
7. Cookies

NewsPanel Pro uses a single session cookie (newspanel_sess) to keep you logged in. This is an essential cookie and cannot be disabled while using the platform.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
